Amplist

Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. Accepting These Terms

By downloading or using Amplist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

2. What Amplist Is

Amplist is a grocery list that shows which of the nutrients you've chosen to watch are covered by the items on your list, suggests foods that would close the gaps, and — from the pattern of what you tick off — offers things again when you're likely to need them.

Nutrition information comes from published food-composition data. It describes foods in general, not the specific item in your basket: the iron in a particular bunch of spinach depends on where it grew, how old it is and how you cook it.

3. Not Medical or Dietary Advice — Please Read

Amplist is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary or nutritional advice. It is a shopping tool.

Coverage in Amplist means only that something on your list is a recognised source of that nutrient. It does not mean you have eaten enough of it, that it was absorbed, or that your diet is adequate. Amplist does not know your age, health, medication, pregnancy status, absorption, or how much of anything you actually eat.

Do not use Amplist to diagnose, treat or manage any medical condition, or to decide whether to take a supplement or medication. Speak to a doctor or a registered dietitian about anything that matters, and never delay or disregard their advice because of something this app showed you.

If you have a food allergy, always read the product's own label. Amplist's catalogue is not an allergen reference and must never be relied on for that.

4. Who Can Use It

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

5. Your Account

You sign in with Google, with an email address and password, or with Apple. You're responsible for keeping that sign-in, and any password you chose, secure, and for what happens on Amplist through it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile › Delete account, or at amplist.web.app/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

6. Suggestions and Reminders

Amplist's suggestions are guesses drawn from your own history and from general food data. They will sometimes be wrong: it may offer something you no longer buy, or stay quiet about something you've run out of.

If you turn on automatic additions, Amplist may add items to your list by itself. Those items are marked as suggestions and are removed on the next launch if you don't act on them. Check your list before you shop — you are responsible for what you buy.

7. Your List

Your list, your watchlist and your preferences belong to you. We don't claim ownership. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display them to you and to run the features described here.

Don't use Amplist to store unlawful content, and don't use it to break the law or interfere with the service or anyone else's use of it.

8. Availability

Amplist is provided free and as-is. We don't promise it will be available without interruption, that its data is complete or accurate, or that it will keep any particular feature. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it — including the app itself — at any time.

Amplist relies on services we don't control, chiefly Google Firebase and Google Play. Their problems become ours, and yours.

9. What's Ours

The Amplist name, logo, design, software and curated catalogue are ours or our licensors'. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they don't give you rights to copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Amplist and the people behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app — including any health outcome, dietary decision, or purchase made or not made on the strength of what the app showed you.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Ending It

You can stop using Amplist and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we discontinue the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and a material change will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use Amplist afterwards means you accept the new terms.
